The fabric manufacturing companies listed below have demonstrated that a quality management system plan has been established and have attained the required score of 80 points on a Total Quality Systems Audit. Therefore, they are authorized by Commodity Operations to participate in food assistance programs administered by the Agency for International Development and the CCC. This listing is applicable for procurement of commodities packed in 50-kilogram capacity woven polypropylene bags, as well as for procurement of empty and baled 50-kilogram capacity woven polypropylene bags. Despite the fact that these fabrics have been authorized for use by Commodity Operations, it is the responsibility of commodity suppliers, in cooperation with the fabric and bag manufacturers, to ensure that fabrics/bags continue to meet all applicable specifications. Contractors must ensure that subcontractors are on the list of approved suppliers and that the markings on the bags match the Official Marker Yarn listed on this page.
